I would not recommend him. He was not willing to go the extra mile to create a positive experience for me as a client. Also, I ended up going to a different notary for my will (I only went into his office for an initial meeting to prepare the will). In retrospect, a lot of the advice he gave me would have cost my estate money and complicated things. For example, he did not say anything to me about me choosing my sister as liquidator (she is not a Canadian resident). This would have caused my estate to be have non-resident status. Also, he recommended that I divide my estate among multiple heirs which would have created unnecessary paperwork (reporting to government). In summary, I do not recommend this notary. I have worked with someone else who is much more knowledgeable and in a professional office on a main street.

No responses for gay couples... EDIT: Despite the response from the owner, no e-mail was received. An original e-mail was actually sent on June 22nd prior to the one on June 30th. An e-mail was also sent by a friend \wanting\ a ceremony mentioning her boyfriend and received a response on the same day. The owner is right though, I won't bother \trying to explain\, we've found a more professional notary elsewhere!
